An active user session is a user that is logged in and actively using your FiveNet instance (e.g., writing a document, looking at the livemap) be it via browser, in-game tablet or other methods. It is not a limit of registered users.
This is to ensure that your instance is not overloaded and potentially causing performance issues for your and others FiveNet instances in the cluster.
It is a soft limit, meaning that if you exceed the limit, your instance will not be shutdowned. In case of longer exceedence of this limit, it will be an indication for you to upgrade your plan to the the next higher tier to be able to support more active user sessions. Should you have any doubts that it will be enough for your communities' player count or if you need more than 500 active user sessions, please contact us to discuss.
The DBSync is FiveNet's component to be compatible with any framework as long as it uses a MySQL database. It queries the data and syncs it to your FiveNet instance's database. It must be run as a separate process on your gameserver's host.
