An active user session is a user that is logged in and actively using your FiveNet instance (e.g., writing a document, looking at the livemap) be it via browser, in-game tablet or other methods. It is not a limit of registered users.
This is to ensure that your instance is not overloaded and potentially causing performance issues for your and others FiveNet instances in the cluster.

It is a soft limit, meaning that if you exceed the limit, your instance will not be shutdowned. In case of longer exceedence of this limit, it will be an indication for you to upgrade your plan to the the next higher tier to be able to support more active user sessions. Should you have any doubts that it will be enough for your communities' player count or if you need more than 500 active user sessions, please contact us to discuss.

The DBSync is FiveNet's component to be compatible with any framework as long as it uses a MySQL database. It queries the data and syncs it to your FiveNet instance's database. It must be run as a separate process on your gameserver's host.

Yes, we use Stripe as a secure payment provider to securely handle your payments. Every hosted FiveNet Cloud instance is using HTTPS to ensure safe data transfer when accessing it.

Yes, incase of upgrades your instance will be upgraded accordingly. Plan downgrades will cause your instance to be downgraded after the end of the term. You can switch plans via the Stripe billing portal, you can access it via your account's profile page

We offer a variety of payment methods through Stripe, including credit cards, PayPal, SEPA Lastschrift, and Klarna. All payments are securely processed by Stripe to ensure the safety of your transactions.

You can request a data dump that contains the database and uploaded files. You can then import it into your self-hosted FiveNet instance. We will provide you with a guide on how to do that, please contact us for more information.
